There is a special breed of cowboys and their equally specialized horses, who hire out to individual ranches to perform the difficult and dangerous job of bringing in the wild cattle from the remote and rugged areas of that ranch. These hands must hunt for and find the cattle, which have been missed during roundup. Here are two such cowboys finally spotting a small group of wild cattle, under the rim, across the valley. Now the cowboys must devise a plan to get close enough to rope and tie the cattle to a tree and let them calm down, until it is safe to lead these wild ones back to camp.
