Watchin elk, deer, antelope and other wildlife in the forests and high desert meadows is one of Bill’s favorite activities. Being fortunate enough to live in the mile-high, Ponderosa pine forests around Prescott, Arizona allows him to spend days at a time tracking, photographing and hunting. Quietly walking through the trees brought him into close contact with these large bull elk escaping his presence by bounding over the rimrock outcropping to get to a more secluded and remote spot.
