Bill loves to get together with friends to eat a great meal, tell jokes, play guitars and drink a little wine. Whether it is at an art show, a party at home, or the historic “Palace Restaurant and Saloon” in Prescott, there is always someone that has a special toast to present for the auspicious occasion. Here we see Bill’s rendition of this timeless scene as it would have looked during the days of the cattle drives through Texas, Kansas, Arizona or any other town of the west 100 years ago. Along the shady banks of the Canadian River of west Texas, over the plains of Kansas near Dodge City, or in the hot cactus filled deserts of Tombstone, Arizona, cowpunchers stopped at the local saloons for a tall cool drink. No matter the style hat, boots, chaps or saddles; these cowboys of the past, and the hectic businessmen in today’s modern hustle-bustle world, lift their glasses after a long day of hard work and shouted a “HERE’S TO YA!”
